Madam,

As parents of pupils in Ysgol Talybont we were delighted to read the recent Estyn inspection report on the current situation in the school. We were very pleased to note that the school was rated as good in all key areas, and was successfully providing a wide range of learning experiences for the pupils. The quality of teaching was described as good with some excellent features.

The inspectors remarked that the school has strong partnerships which contribute towards raising standards and improving pupils’ welfare.

Academic performance, relationships with the community, a strong feeling of working as a team to raise standards and the happy and welcoming ethos of the school were all favourably commented on too.

This is a tribute to all the hard work of the staff, governors, parents and volunteers and we would like to thank them for creating a school where we are very happy our children are educated.
