Madam,

Nearly two months ago, vast sections of pavement were dug up in a prominent shopping area of Pwllheli and the paving blocks were hurriedly replaced with a surface of ugly, very uneven patches of tarmac, which could have a seriously bad impact on pedestrian safety between Mariner Bistro, on the corner of Station Square, down to Bodawen Corner and on to the new butchery in the Maes.

If the latest public message is to try to keep away from A&E, surely Gwynedd Council should act immediately with all their vigour to tackle this outrageous health hazard, especially if they have been flooded with furious phone calls from prominent local bodies and individuals.
