Wedding dresses donated to Machynlleth charity shops have helped raise over £1,000 for the Severn Hospice shop.
A wedding fayre, featuring upcycled wedding dresses donated to charity shops across the town, took place on 9 March at Y Plas.
The event hosted local retail charities selling wedding dresses and other occasion wear, wedding accessories, vintage crockery and more.
There was a fashion show at the event and a raffle to raise money for the Severn Hospice shop in Machynlleth.
Nicola Burgess from the shop, who organised the event, said: “The wedding fayre went very well considering we were competing with the rugby!
“The raffle alone raised £1,000 for Severn Hospice and the shop stall on the day did about £70.”
