AN OVER-TURNED lorry forced the closure of a major road into Aberystwyth this morning (Tuesday).

The lorry over-turned and ended up on its side just off the road on the A44 at Goginan around 6.25am.

The road was partially closed for several hours, and fully closed for around half an hour while the lorry was recovered.

No injuries were reported.

A Dyfed-Powys police spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of a van on its side on the A44 near Goginan at 5.55am this morning."No other vehicle was involved in the collision. The male driver was suffering with shock, but not injured."The road was closed while the vehicle was righted and recovered."The road is now open."
