Madam,
It looks like there will be another 4.95 per cent increase in council tax this year.
That means there will have been around a 25 per cent increase since 2013-14.
The Cambrian News published a nice smiling face of council leader Ellen ap Gwynne with the article in the paper. I can say that she’s one of the few people that are smiling after this enormous increase and after the Cabinet voted to close Bodlondeb to save money.
Can I ask if Cabinet members are on an index-linked pay award?
And, again, I’ll ask, why can’t councillors have video-conferencing to save on travel expenses and maybe other entitlements?
