A VIGIL for alleged Lampeter murder victim Katarzyna Elzbieta Paszek will be held in the town’s Harford Square at 5pm tomorrow.

Mrs Paszek, 39, who lived in Bridge Street, was rushed to hospital after an incident at her home last Thursday.

Police confirmed on Tuesday that she had died of her injuries and a murder investigation has been launched.

Organiser Angela Wild said: "We will be holding the vigil not just to remember the woman who died but also all the women in Wales who have been killed as a result of domestic violence.

"We will be lighting candles, reading out the name of domestic violence victims who have died this year and there will be some singing as well."

Four men, all from the Lampeter area, were initially arrested in connection with the incident, all having since been released by police.

A 27-year-old man has been released on bail while a 31-year-old man and a 37-year-old man have both been released with no further action.

A 40-year-old man has also since been released on conditional bail.
