Drivers have been warned to be careful after snow fell on roads in Ceredigion.

This was the scene on the A44 at Eisteddfa Gurig at 9am this morning, captured by Alison Bryan.

Snow was also reported in Llangurig and Llanidloes and further north in the Talyllyn and Blaenau Ffestiniog areas.

A yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office for parts of south, mid and north Wales until 1pm today.

Up to 4cm of snow was expected to fall on some high roads.
