The owner of a Porsche is hopping mad after discovering it was driven at high speeds around the roads of Lampeter after she dropped it off for a service at a local garage.

The woman, who does not wish to be named, says she had taken the car into Huw Lewis Tyres after it developed steering issues. But on picking it up she was surprised to find that a quarter of a tank of fuel was missing.

And her puzzlement turned to fury when dashcam footage revealed her Porsche had been driven at speeds of up to 89mph along rural roads while she had assumed it was being fixed in the garage.

Huw Lewis Tyres says an employee was dismissed as a result of their investigation.

And the Porsche driver says she is so upset by what happened that she has now exchanged the car for another Porsche and informed the police.
