Madam,

How amazing! Just what we need! Another coffee shop - this time in the revamped Ceredigion Museum in Aberystwyth.

I do not decry this particular café but the council knew this was coming some time ago so why allow Gregg’s, plus various national coffee chains, to open up in our town. Not forgetting, of course, the café in Tesco’s and the soon-to-be-opened café in M&S.

I feel so sorry for the few remaining small independent coffee shops whose owners are just trying to make a living, without the dreaded new business rates which will be implemented soon.

We really are swamped in coffee now. How many more will be allowed before we all drown in the stuff!
