Madam,

Residents in Rheidol Road, Penparcau, Aberystwyth are fed up with Ceredigion County Council.

In the last year we’ve had up to eight times that refuse hasn’t been picked up.

We’ve been in touch with the waste disposal department several times, with some action but mainly no collection.

When the new collection system was introduced we didn’t have any problems, until last Monday, when black bags were collected but not recycling bags nor the waste food green mini-bin.

I emailed the county council and the comment I had back was that they would send me a collection calendar. I said I had one of those and had put all collection dates in my diary, including the “full” collection dates, one of which was Monday, 2 September.

I would ask does this refuse calendar constitute a contract?
