You ran a report (11 June, north edition) on a notice at Borth-y-Gest harbour which had been defaced with graffiti.

From your picture a fairly small notice with no obscene words used. And yet you report that the police were going from door to door asking for information.

Now I don’t approve of any sort of graffiti but what a waste of scarce resources when some real crimes are hardly investigated. Ask shopkeepers, when they are allowed to open, about shoplifting.

Anyway, I’m sure that there are many people in the area who would like to see some of the restrictions lifted.
