Madam,

So Gwynedd Council has been fined £73,000 for breaching environmental regulations. What is the point of that, the only people to suffer will be the public. To pay this fine the council will either cut even more public services or increase our council tax.

Instead of this, the actual officials responsible should have been taken to court and made to pay themselves. This would certainly make them keep their eye on the ball in future, knowing that they would be held responsible if anything went wrong.

Yours etc
