Where have all the flowers gone?

Aberystwyth is very dear to my heart. I was born there and returned for 30 happy years to work and raise our family.

Twelve months ago I moved to the south west to be nearer our eight grand-children. Returning to Aberystwyth as a tourist this spring was a delight except for the one thing - no flowers!

I know money is tight but this decision does seem short-sighted for a holiday town. Would it be possible for hotels and businesses to sponsor a flowerbed, especially on the promenade and at the castle?

Please bring the sunshine back to Aberystwyth.
