Madam,

I am writing to highlight how high fuel prices are in Aberystwyth.

I have recently also spoken to MP Ben Lake’s office who tell me numerous other people have raised the issue with them.

Diesel prices in Aberystwyth and surrounding villages are £137.9 per litre and at Morrisons in Aberystwyth it is £135.9 a litre.

But at two garages just down the coast road at Penparc the price is £125.9 per litre, which is a considerable difference.

It also appears a strange coincidence that these price rises seem to occur at the start of holiday seasons, although I am sure this is not intentional!

My wife and myself spend quite a lot of time in Pembrokeshire and would pay on average £131.9.

I feel we are being ripped off in Aberystwyth.

Yours etc, Mr A J Freeman, Aberystwyth.
