Popular Italian delicatessen Diforti has launched a range of sweet and savoury hampers perfect for the festive season.

Founded in 1875 by Michele Diforti, in the picturesque village of Caltanissetta, Sicily, Diforti is a family-run business which has become synonymous with traditional, quality Italian produce.

Great-great-grandsons Carlo and Andrea, who took the helm of Diforti in 2005, are hoping to bring a traditional taste of Italy to the UK, through the online delicatessen.

Carlo Diforti, director of Diforti, said: “Since taking over the family business, we’ve been on a mission to combine our Italian roots with today’s British culture. We constantly draw inspiration from our childhood family dinners, but keep up with modern trends. Diforti’s heritage is what gives us the competitive edge, something we keep in mind when developing new products and recipes – including our new hampers.”

Diforti’s series of stunning, festive hampers are packed with Italian essentials, and are available to purchase online.

Boasting a selection of delicate pastries, rich sauces, gluten-free pastas, aromatic oils, crunchy crostini, punchy pesto and delectable antipasti, housed in a delightful, wicker basket, there are enough options to delight even the most discerning of palates, all at a reasonable price.

To celebrate the launch of their new hampers, Diforti is giving one lucky reader the chance to win Diforti’s Grande Savoury Festive Hamper, worth £80, which includes the following:
