A WOMAN was taken to hospital after her bike was in collision with a car in Aberystwyth - the second incident in a matter of days at the scene of improvement works associated with the new Mill Street development.
On Monday, 1 August, a 34-year-old woman was taken to Bronglais Hospital with minor injuries after her bike was in a collision with the car on the Mill Street roundabout, where works are being carried out to widen pavements and access leading to the site.
It follows an incident a few days before, on Thursday, 28 July, which saw a woman “fall onto a taxi” in Chalybeate Street outside the Central Fish Restaurant on the roundabout.
The second incident occurred around 12.55pm. Police and an ambulance crew attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Ceredigion council said: “The council has asked the contractors working on the junction as part of the Mill Street development to provide a report on the incident and the circumstances involved.”
