A MACHYNLLETH woman has been reunited with the £200 in cash she lost while out shopping after her appeal for help on social media went viral­.

Tammi Dallaston launched an appeal on Facebook on a Saturday afternoon after losing an envelope which contained cash she said was intended for food and bills.

Ms Dallaston’s Facebook post read: “I really can’t afford to lose this, I was on my way to the bank.

“Can anyone help? Any bright ideas? Not got enough money for food or bills now.”

After the post was shared 44 times, Ms Dallaston recei­ved a message on Facebook from a member of staff at a Machynlleth bakery, where she had accidentally left the envelope on the counter while shopping there.
