Madam,
I genuinely feel for the people around the Mallwyd area and can well see how they feel such a level of intimidation when seeing so many transit vans arriving at once (‘Off-roaders accused of tormenting village).
Off-road riders tearing around the forest paths must be a worry for others along the pathways, and all the wildlife and the precious under-growth around the boles of the trees, especially fungi, at this time of year.
Farmers are evidently concerned for their livestock, especially when safety measures which were in place are suddenly no more. As for barbecuing a beast... I personally wonder who is masterminding this activity and who takes responsibility?
Yours etc,
Jill Baxter, Abergynolwyn.
