YesCymru has launched its campaign to secure a referendum on Welsh independence in 2032.
The group’s chair Rob Hughes launched the movement’s 2032 campaign at the National Eisteddfod on 2 August.
Mr Hughes said: “I think we’ve had enough of wandering through life without giving us and our supporters and the people of Wales something to have as a focus.”
YesCymru said the 2032 campaign will focus on growing support for independence, answering the practical questions people have about Wales’ future and building the political pressure needed to secure a referendum.
Mr Hughes added: “I think what we need to do is persuade the people of Wales that an independent Wales will provide a better future for them and for the generations to come.”
