A forum for youngsters set up to make improvements within the community and assist local organisations celebrates its fifth birthday this month.
The youngsters formed a constitution that paved the way for five successful years operating as a youth forum.
During that time the forum has worked with other delegates in the community to enable young people to have their voices heard and to have a real local impact.
The community centre in Penparcau, which was extended in 2017 to include a dedicated Youth Zone, has provided a fantastic space for the forum to flourish.
With the support and guidance of the steadily growing youth forum, the Penparcau Hub has successfully hosted a wide range of activities, trips and courses for young people.
Activities have included mountain biking, laser tag, go-karting, pizza nights, carnival planning, float making, games nights and various arts and crafts.
The trips have included visits to trampoline parks, Cardigan Island, other flagship youth zones and Oakwood theme park.
Next up for the forum is the Star Wars-themed May the Fourth Duck Race.
