Dysynni Junior hockey players were in action recently with a visit to Pwllheli who were hosting the first North Wales tournament for 18 months.

With many clubs taking part from across the region, it was a jam-packed day of hockey.

Dysynni under 10s started the day and put on a great show of hockey skills from all players taking part – both teams were unbeaten after about six games each.

The under 12s were on next - generally against tougher competition. However they battled on and won some and lost a few, a good start to see what the competition is like.

The cub also had two players in the under 14s section who were kindly included in the Bangor City team on this occasion.

The Dysynni juniors will be in action again at Colwyn Bay on Sunday and Dysynni Ladies Firsts will start their campaign in the North Wales Ladies League on Saturday with the Ladies Seconds team starting the week afterwards.

Training has re-started with walking session on Mondays at 6pm, mixed squad training on Tuesdays at 7pm till 8.30pm, mixed Under 11s on Thursdays at 5pm and a mixed social session at 6pm on Thursdays.
