Elfyn Evans doubles his lead in the first stage of the day to tighten his grip on proceedings in the final day of Rally de Portugal.

Evans completed the SS16 Felgueiras 1 stage in 6 minutes 5.1 seconds, 9.6 seconds faster than second placed Dani Sordo to extend his advantage to 20.3 seconds, with just four stages remaining.Elfyn said after his run: "It was quite a big push. It was tricky in there - not as much grip as we expected and it's quite a hard surface. Happy enough with that."

Up next is SS17, Montim, which gets going at 07.53hrs (local time).
