AFTER several positive performances without getting their just reward in the league this season, the Seasiders got what they deserved for yet another hard working performance at local rivals Newtown on Friday night.

A wonder goal by Jamie Veale from 40 yards and a close range effort by substitute Jonathan Evans gave Antonio Corbisiero’s men a valuable three points at Latham Park.

The Aber boss said: “We dominated the game and deserved the three points.

“I think we were better in both boxes, we were better defensively, they put their bodies on the line and won first ball and second ball.

“When it was dropping to the edge of the box we weren’t winning those types of balls before.

“We did all the good things and the right things.

“It was a wonder goal by Vealey to start and then we got that scrappy goal to win, a type of goal which we don’t normally get.

“We had more people in the box and we deserved to win.”
