ABERDYFI celebrated winning the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League Cup with a 2-1 win against Talybont at Park Avenue last Wednesday.

Goals from Ben Holt and Mike Rees put Dyfi in the driving seat - and it took a penalty save from Des Roberts to prevent Tim Holt from further extending their lead.

With 10 minutes remaining, Talybont were awarded a penalty, which Robbie Southgate despatched into the top corner, but Aberdyfi held firm, before skipper Sam Evenson lifted the trophy.
