ABERDYFI notched their first three points of the season in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one with a battling 3-2 home victory over Penrhyncoch Reserves.
A Sean Fox penalty, and goals from Tim Holt and Dion Kohler secured their opening win of the new season, after starting their campaign with two defeats.
Tregaron Turfs recorded another solid win to make it four wins from four in division one this season with a 5-0 win over previously unbeaten Bow Street Reserves.
Goals from Cledan Davies, Daniel Owen, Rhodri Jones, Rhun Garner and Will Williams sealed their latest win, and they have already netted 23 goals in four matches.
Ryan Edwards meanwhile scored a hat-trick as Llanilar came strong to beat Padarn United 3-0 and celebrate their first win of the season.
• Tregaron Turfs had made it three wins from three when they notched an 8-2 home win over Padarn United in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League on Wednesday night.
Former Aberystwyth Town player Cledan Davies led the way with a hat-trick, and there were also goals for William Williams, Ryan Hurrell, Ifan Jones and Dylan Davies.
Jason Davies and Steve Jones had netted for Padarn.
Bow Street Reserves had also maintained their unbeaten start to the new campaign as a Shaun Jones goal edged a narrow 1-0 midweek verdict at Bont.
Matthew Merry scored twice as Penrhyncoch Reserves notched a 3-3 midweek draw with Talybont, with Sion Vaughan also scoring as the Roosters hit back from being two goals down.
Talybont had scored their goals through Barry Southgate, Nathan Pemberthy and Osian Thomas, who converted from the penalty spot.
