ABERDYFI settled for a share of the spoils in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one with a 2-2 draw against Llanilar, with all the goals coming in the first half on Saturday.

Ben Holt netted twice for the home team, but Guto Roberts, with a great strike, and a Clive Morgan penalty ensured it was all square at the interval, and neither side could force a second half winner.

Bont meanwhile continued to push the pace as they registered a solid 3-0 win away at local rivals Tregaron Turfs.

Goals from Gwynfryn Hughes, Dion Davies and Dewi Sion Evans made it 10 points from four games on their return from the Spar Mid Wales League division two.

Iolo ap Dafydd scored a hat-trick as Bow Street Reserves registered a solid 8-2 win over Machynlleth Reserves.

Phil Rainbow meanwhile scored twice as Borth United Reserves recorded a 3-1 win at Penrhyncoch Reserves, with Shaun Tooley also scoring for the visitors, whilst Tega Emeseh replied.

In midweek, Bont had been held to a 2-2 draw with Talybont, despite goals by Fergus Morris and Dion Davies. Talybont scored through Rhydian ap Owen and a Robbie Southgate penalty.

Tregaron Turfs meanwhile got back to winning ways as they registered a 5-0 away win over Borth United Reserves, having netted four goals from Rhun Garner and one by Dylan Davies.
