BARMOUTH & Dyffryn United FC have announced the date of the official switching on of the flub floodlights and the re-opening of the new 100-seater stand .
In a special evening at the ground on Tuesday, 9 October, they will play against newly-promoted Welsh Premier League side Caernarfon Town FC.
Côr Meibion Ardudwy and the local Samba Band have already been booked to provide pre-match and half time entertainment and chairman William Huntley and his committee will be working hard to piece together a memorable evening in the club’s history.
Further announcements and information will be made once a firm commitment has been made.
The squad enjoyed a good run-out on Saturday when they hosted West Midlands League Division Two outift Wolverhampton United, losing by a solitary goal netted in stoppage time.
They have also signed new goalkeeper Adam Walters. He rejoins the Magpies from Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town, after a spell at Cymru Alliance club Penrhyncoch, having previously played for Barmouth.
