ABERYSWTYTH Town’s new-look squad is starting to take shape under new manager Matthew Bishop and assistant Wayne Jones, with four further signings being announced this week.

Defender Will Bell, who left Bala Town last month, has become the latest player to pen a deal with the Park Avenue club.

The Liverpool-born 21-year-old captained the Under-17, Under-18 and reserve sides at Morecambe and was awarded a new one-year deal in August 2014, before being loaned to the Lakesiders for the season, a move which was then made permanent.

After being virtually ever-present during his first season at Maes Tegid with 30 Welsh Premier appearances, he was loaned to Colwyn Bay to gain match fitness, making seven appearances.

He was recalled by Bala in January this year, but managed only one substitute appearance last season.

Midfielder Jonathan Evans has also returned from Penrhyncoch for his third spell at Park Avenue, whilst new signings Kostya Georgievsky and Joe Clarke have joined from Port Talbot.

An Aberystwyth Town Academy product, Evans progressed to Cardiff City’s Academy and represented the Welsh Schoolboys and Wales Under 16s side, playing in the Victory Shield.

He joined Accrington Stanley, but signed for Alan Morgan’s Aber side in 2011, figuring in five Welsh Premier matches, before moving on to Penrhyncoch. He returned for a second spell at Aber last season, making eight starts and scoring twice, before finishing the season at Cae Baker.

Striker Kostya Georgievsky joins from Port Talbot, where he stepped up from the youth team squad, having also gaining first team experience playing for Garden Village. The 20 year-old made seven Welsh Premier starts for the Steelmen last season.

Midfielder Joe Clarke, 24, was club captain with Goytre United after joining from West End in 2012. He signed for Port Talbot in May 2015, making 29 Welsh Premier starts last season, having come through the youth ranks at Llanelli, and having spent time in Australia playing for Moreland City.

Following news that Luke Borelli and Sam Rodon had joined the Seasiders last week, the club has also now confirmed they have been joined by former Haverfordwest teammates in Greg Walters and Ricky Watts.

Striker Walters, 21, and defender Watts, 24, have represented Wales at youth level, and were almost ever-present for the Bluebirds last season.

Having secured the services of Luke Sherbon and Cledan Davies, the club confirmed that Geoff Kellaway and youngster Jac Rimmer have also re-signed for next season.

Sixteen year-old Tom Jones was also back in training with the Seasiders, as was midfielder Rhydian Davies, having spent last season playing in the Cymru Alliance for Rhayader Town.
