BONT continued their impressive start to the season in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one as they stretched their unbeaten run to 10 games in all competitions with a 4-2 victory against Bow Street Reserves.

Goals from Lee Jones and Owen Evans gave the visitors a half time lead, before Ben Lewis and the in-form Dewi Sion Evans had seemingly put the game to bed.

Full credit to the home side however, they made Bont sweat with two late goals by Paul Bonner and Nicky Thomas from the penalty spot.

Tregaron Turfs meanwhile moved up to third place in the table with a 6-5 win over Aberdyfi, with goals from Carwyn Earey, Llyr Davies, Rhun Garner, Daniel Owen, Ben Clewse and Ifan Jones.

Padarn United Reserves notched a solid 6-0 win over Llanon in division two, with a hat-trick from Tegid Owen, and singles by Dave ‘Plukka’ Jones, Chris Carton and Graham Thomas, whilst Llanilar Reserves lost 2-1 away at Aberdyfi Reserves.
