BOW Street made it three wins from four matches in the MMP Mid Wales League division one as they edged a 1-0 win over Ceredigion rivals Aberaeron at Cae Piod on Wednesday evening.

After their solid home win over Llansantffraid, the Magpies kept things tight to record another clean sheet.

Ryan Evans scored the only goal of the game, to leave the much-improved visitors still propping up the table after their fourth successive defeat.

Llanidloes Town moved top of the table with a 3-2 win at Berriew, who netted through Charlie Humphreys and Joe Haycock - and saw a first half penalty saved by Kris Williams.

After falling behind, Llani hit back with George Clarke glancing in Adam Worton’s knock, before Joshua Hartrick hit a long range screamer for 2-1.

Berriew fought back well in the second half, but Hartrick finally sealed the three points with his second goal of the evening on the counter-attack.

Llandrindod Wells, after three staright wins, lost their unbeaten record as they lost 3-0 at Builth Wells, who are level on points with the Daffs.

Gavin Samuel hit the first goal after Tom Bethell’s free kick was fumbled, and from another Bethell free-kick, Jack Hammond rose highest to double their lead with a glancing header.

Builth secured the points when Brad Rollinson delivered a corner, which Chris Roff met with a bullet header.

Caersws notched their third win as they twice hit back to win 4-3, with goals from Mark Edmondson, Ioan Humphreys, Peter Rees and Rhydian Davies, with a last minute winner.

Nick Williams twice put Tywyn ahead from the penalty spot, and Ryan Goddard scored with his first touch, but the hosts were reduced to 10 men when Ethan Rodgers was shown red.

Ben Simms netted an early goal for Four Crosses against Montgomery Town, who earned a 1-1 draw through Jack Williams’ second half equaliser.

Carno notched their first win of the season with a 1-0 win at Kerry, with Andy Evans netting a first half winner.

Hay St Mary’s won an end to end Radnorshire derby as a Greg Preece strike and a Jack Biggs penalty earned them a 2-1 win over Radnor Valley, with Joey Price netting a reply for the visitors with a trademark free-kick.

Meanwhile goals from Ricky Litchfield and James Clewlow earned Welshpool Town a 2-0 win over Llansantffraid, who were still seeking their first points of the new campaign.
