BOW STREET consolidated their top five position in the MMP Mid Wales League division one as they twice hit back from being a goal down to secure a 2-2 draw against visitors Kerry at Cae Piod.
Goals from Llyr Davies and John James earned a hard-earned point for the Magpies, but they were made to battle all the way by a Kerry side that had twice taken the lead in difficult playing conditions.
The Lambs felt that they also had the chances to win the game, with first half goals from Daryl Mcwatt and Luke Evans twice putting them ahead, only for the hosts to show great character to equalise.
Llanidloes Town remain 13 points clear at the top of division one after they continued their push for the title with a 5-0 away win over Llansantffraid at Treflan.

The Daffs remained on top in the second half, with Rhys Evans tapping in a fourth goal, after Ashely Owen’s shot was parried, and Gareth Owen’s wind-assisted strike flew into the net for 5-0.
Llanidloes manager Hugh Clarke meanwhile gave a starting debut to new signing Jack Perry, and the former St Martins, Newtown and Bishops Castle goalkeeper was pleased to have kept a clean sheet.
Greg Preece netted a dramatic 90th minute winner as second-placed Builth Wells, with two games in hand on the Daffs, notched a fine 2-1 away win at Caersws.
Josh Price had opened the scoring for the visitors in the opening minutes, but the Bluebirds pulled level on the hour through James Coleman, only for Preece to claim the points in the last minute.
Third-placed Llandrindod Wells had to settle for a share of the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Aberaeron, who earned a point through Mattie Davies’ last-gasp penalty.
Ashley Jones and Martin Rowan scored for the Wellmen, but Aberaeron netted through Elwyn Edwards, and the hosts created plenty of chances before Davies held his nerve to equalise from the spot.
Carno, who have appointed Gary Jones as their new manager after Gwynfor Edwards stepped down, shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Four Crosses at Ty Brith.
Joe Morris opened the scoring for the Greens with a back-heel, after the keeper had spilled a good lofted ball from Cal Jones, but they were denied by Harry Davies’ equaliser to earn Crosses a point.
A goal in each half meanwhile earned Montgomery Town a 2-0 win at Tywyn/Bryncrug, with Tom Evans and Callum Roberts earning them points on the road.
Martyn Ziemann struck twice as Welshpool Town booked their place in the quarter finals of the FAW Trophy in a 4-2 win at Radnor Valley, with Ricky Litchfield and Will Thomas also scoring.
Berriew bowed out with a 4-2 penalty shoot-out defeat at home to Llandudno Albion, after drawing 1-1, with Joe Haycock equalising for the mid Wales men, after Jack Williams had scored for Albion.
