ABERYSTWYTH’S Rhys Norrington-Davies has given his verdict on the news that he has been selected for the Wales Euro 2020 squad.

The 26-man squad was revealed in a rather lengthy release on FA Cymru’s digital channels earlier tonight.

A delighted Rhys, a former Ysgol Penglais pupil, said: “I’m so pleased to have made the 26-man squad for the delayed 2020 Euros competition.

“On a personal note it’s been a great season for myself and the news this evening has just topped it off.”

The 22-year-old maurading left back added: “It’s been great to meet up back with the lads the last couple of weeks, everyone seems in high spirits and is ready to give it all it takes over the course of the tournament.

“We continue to work hard on the training pitches and look forward to seeing you (the fans) back in the stadiums very soon #Togetherstronger.”
