CARDIGAN Town were dragged down in heavy mud at the King George as Crannog emerged well worth their 2-0 win in the Costcutter Ceredigion division one.

In division two, Cilgerran went six points clear at the top as they notched up their 10th win, with a 6-0 success over Lampeter Reserves.
Dan Bellis, a former striker with St Dogmaels, grabbed two of the goals and there were singles for George Lawrence, Justin Williams, Oliver Evans and John Williams.
Geraint Chico Fermor scored a brace of goals as Cardigan Reserves romped to a 6-2 win away against Newcastle Emlyn Reserves, with further goals from Tom Gardner, Emlyn George, Johnny Rees and veteran campaigner Justin Evans.
Maesglas, who are in second place in the division two table, kept their hopes of promotion alive with a 1-0 win at SDUC, with Kieran Harmon netting their winning goal.
