ABERYSTWYTH manager Antonio Corbisiero has sent out a rallying call to Black and Green supporters ahead of Friday night’s big Cymru Premier clash at the Bridge Meadow against Haverfordwest County.

Following a fantastic turnout for the Seasiders’ 1,000 Cymru Premier outing, a 2-0 win against County at Park Avenue last week, Corbisiero is hoping the fans can have a big say in the outcome of the reverse fixture.

He said: “A massive thank you to all the fans, supporters, volunteers, the chairman and board members for making the 1000th game such a special occasion for the club.

“The players were extremely grateful to all the people who turned out to mark such a special occasion, and we’re glad that we played our small part in it by getting a vital victory.”

He added: “We hope the fans can see what we are trying to do as a club, looking to stride forward and obviously your support is always massive, massive help and incentive to the players when the crowd gets behind the team.

“From all the management staff and players, we thank you for your continued support and we hope that as many of you as possible can make it down to Haverfordwest to make a noise down there.

“I’m sure the Green Army will be in full voice once again so it would be good to see as many fans as we can there. Thanks once again from everyone at Aberystwyth Town for your loyal support!”

The match kicks off at 7.45pm at Bridge Meadow.
