Already through to the semi-finals of the Cwpan Coffa Dai ‘Dynamo’ Davies, Crannog dug deep to eventually beat the Magpies at Lampeter last Wednesday night.
Cardigan, with quality delivery by Steve Blackford and powerful men in the air like Ben Davies and Iestyn Evans, had put Crannog under pressure for long periods.

Colven nipped in behind the defence and beat the Cardigan keeper to the ball, and make it 1-0 at the half-time interval.

The second half was one-way traffic as goals from Hazelby and skipper Ian Barrett, with a bullet header, made it 5-1.
Two more goals by Hazelby, taking his tally of the season to 23, further increased the lead and Matthew Newbold rounded the keeper to make it 8-1, and take Llandysul to 99 league goals for the season.
At the other end, keeper Jon Durbridge made a top draw save to save a penalty.
