DOLGELLAU made the journey back from Talgarth empty-handed after their hosts had registered a 3-0 home win in the Spar Mid Wales League division two.

Ben Sharman gave the home side an early lead, and Harry Sharman then doubled their lead after an extraordinary length of the field run and smart finish.

Talgarth secured their points when, after a good period of pressure, Martyn Norwood intercepted the ball and fed Harry Sharman, who cut in and fired home into the bottom corner.

Llansantffraid moved to the top of the table as goals by Jake Harris, Tom Gale, Callum Williams, Aled Jones and an own goal earned a 5-1 win at Dyffryn Banw.

Two goals from Joel Evans and singles by Craig Evans, Jordan Evans and Tom Cutts meanwhile sealed a 5-0 win for Brecon Northcote at home against Presteigne.

Newbridge were 4-2 winners over visitors Abermule, courtesy of their winning goals from Ieuan Price, Aeron Powell, with a brace, and an own goal. Jack Clare and Charlie Humphreys netted the reply goals for Mule.
