Aberystwyth-born Alice Evans has signed up for her second season for Santa Predu Ladies Futsal team in Sardinia, Italy.

The former Trefonnen Primary School and Builth Wells High School student joined the newly promoted Sardinian club last year.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper became the first ever British female Futsal player to gain a professional contract when she joined Italian side Sinnai in 2015, where she competed for a season in the top flight division.

She has nine senior caps for the Wales futsal team and 15 for the youths.

Since coming back to the UK at the end of May she has been playing futsal for Cheshire.

They played in the Futsal Summer Showdown who made their way to the semi finals where Evans was awarded the player of the match.

The talented sportswoman has also been training and playing rugby for Warrington Wolves Ladies during her time home.
