BALA Town Ladies are still seeking their first win in the North Wales Women’s League after they slipped to a 5-0 defeat to Bangor City last weekend.
Lexi Crawley led the way with a hat-trick and Ceri Lois added a double as Bangor notched their fifth league win.
The league fixtures had recommenced last weekend under the auspices of the Football Association of Wales after a four-week break, with Rhyl Development having now joined the league.
Top-of-the-table Northop Hall returned where they had left off as they ntoched a 6-1 home win over Prestatyn. The league’s top scorer Laura Pennington notched another hat-trick for the Flintshire side, and Laura Eagles, Gemma Williams and Ashleigh Foster were also on target for the home team.
Millie O’Connor replied for Prestatyn, but the hosts were convincing winners.
Denbigh Town were 3-0 winners at Bethel, as the Vale of Clwyd side took the spoils with goals from Chelsea Williams, Eluned Evans and Jenny Davies.
Three games were postponed last weekend, including Kinmel Bay versus Airbus, Llanfair United versus Pwllheli and newcomers Rhyl Development in their scheduled match with Amlwch.
Llanidloes Town have now withdrawn from the North Wales League.
