STRIKER Connor Bird netted a hat-trick against his former club as Llanidloes Town made it back-to-back wins in the MMP Mid Wales League division one with a 5-0 success at Knighton Town on Tuesday night.
Bird opened his account early on with a well taken goal and he then added a second before the interval.
The Daffs were cutting their hosts open with some flowing moment, and increased their lead after the interval through George Clarke, following a good break by Peter Rees.
Bird sealed his hat-trick, before a fine team move saw Ash Owen complete the nap hand from a Rees assist.
Three second half goals were enough to earn Kerry their first points of the season with a 3-0 win against a battling Churchstoke side.
Luke Mumford grabbed a trademark dead ball braced with a free kick and penalty, and a wonder strike from Jordan Dean made it three.

On Wednesday, a brace for Nick Williams capped another excellent three points for Tywyn/Bryncrug as they beat Bow Street 2-1 at home. Dean Evans netting for the visitors.
Caersws fought back from being a goal down to win 2-1 at Llansantffraid, with captain Lance Jones equalising, before Phil Jones popped up with a last minute winner. Nathan Prodger had netted for the Saints.
Llandrindod Wells made it two wins from two with an impressive 4-1 win against Welshpool Town.
Robert Nicholls scored a brace, with Ryan Sims and Shane Pritchard also scoring. A goal from Will Thomas for Pool had seen it 1-1 at half-time.
Mid Wales League Division Two
BORTH United made it two wins from two in the MMP Mid Wales League division two as they hit back to beat Machynlleth 2-1 at rainswept Uppingham Fields on Wednesday evening.
A superb free kick from Ryan Davies and a last minute winner from Guto Huws sealed the three points, after Drew Page had netted for the visitors.
Borth had the first real chance as Guto Huws cut in from the left wing and squared the ball to Ryan Davies, who saw his rasping drive hit the post.
On the half hour, however, it was Machynlleth who took the lead when Drew Page scored from close range.
With five minutes of the first half remaining, an injury to Borth full back Sam Chapman required a lengthy stoppage, before being stretchered off.
Borth resumed with some penetrating attacks in the second half, but generally the visitors coped well until they conceded a free kick 25 yards out and Ryan Davies’superb shot nestled into the top corner.
Both teams attacked, but just as it had seemed that Mach had done enough to deserve a point, a desperately short back pass allowed the alert Guto Huws to nip in and slide home Borth’s winning goal.
It was a good night on the road again for Four Crosses as they registered their second win with a 4-2 success at Abermule. Jordan Gerrard scored twice, along with goals by Paul Bache and Ollie Jackson for the visitors.
A low drive from the edge of the box and a close range header saw Adam Wiliams get a brace for Abermule.
Montgomery had to settle for another share of the spoils in a 3-3 draw with local rivals Waterloo Rovers. Ioan Humphreys, Tom Evans and Sam Williams netted for the hosts, with Nathan James bagging a brace in reply and Gareth Turner also finding the net.
Dyffryn Banw opened their account as goals from Alwyn Jones and Jamie Huxley earned them a 2-0 win at Dolgellau, whilst Duane Anning fired a hat-trick as Presteigne overcame Brecon Northcote 3-1, with Curtis Williams keeping the Stags in the hunt.
Hay St Marys ran riot in an 8-0 romp at Newbridge, with Matty Tong and Jack Bigg completing hat-tricks while Darren Horrigan and Brendan Hackett also got names on the scoresheet.
