LEO Thompson has been named Aberystwyth Town's first Supporters' Player of the Match after the Seasiders' 2-1 home defeat to Treowen Stars on Saturday.

The award, launched this season, gives supporters the opportunity to recognise the player they feel made the biggest impact during each home game.

The winning player will receive a trophy and an additional prize donated by a local business, with the result announced on the club's social media channels after every home fixture.

The club has thanked its local partners for supporting the initiative and helping to reward players' performances throughout the campaign.

Voting is simple, with supporters able to scan QR codes displayed around Park Avenue or printed in the official match programme. The codes link directly to a short online voting form.

Voting remains open until shortly after the final whistle, ensuring fans have the chance to make their choice once the match has concluded.
