Ioan Jones, Rhydian ap Owen and Jamie Dowse also got on the scoresheet for Llanilar, who made the most of Tregaron’s match against Padarn United being off, because of an unplayable pitch.
Llanilar were made to battle all the way by a spirited Aberdyfi side, who had hit back from being two goals down to level matters at 2-2 at one stage through Ben Richards and an own goal.
A depleted Bow Street Reserves meanwhile got back to winning ways as goals from Shaun Jones and Stephen Harrison earned them a 2-1 derby win against Penrhyncoch Reserves, who had scored through James Fox.
Talybont notched their fourth league win as a Jamie Barron penalty and Nathan Penberthy, with a beautiful finish from 35 yards out, sealed 2-1 win over Aberystwyth University Reserves, with Aled Thomas replying.
Corris United climbed up into third place in division two as they notched an emphatic 10-3 win against Aberystwyth University Thirds.
Osian Wells led the way with a hat-trick, Jake Hinge netted twice, and Alex Roberts, George Cottam, Ryan Jones, Martin Roberts and an own goal completed the rout, with Duncan Mason scoring a hat-trick for the University.
Penparcau Reserves meanwhile moved six points clear at the top with their 9-1 success over Llanilar Reserves. Man of the match Jordan Perry netted four goals for Arky, whilst Robin Mleczek scored twice, and Sam Davies, Harry Turner and Gareth Hughes also got their names onto the scoresheet.
The division two match between Dolgellau Reserves and Borth Reserves was postponed, as was Bont’s match against Cardigan in the Dai ‘Dynamo’ Davies Memorial Cup due to a bereavement.
