The hosts were four goals adrift by half-time, after Bangor strikes by Les Davies and Les McNulty on 14 and 15 minutes, Jamie Petrie on 28 and Sion Parry on 31.

The situation got even worse for the hosts in the second period, as Bangor added seven more, including four by Dylan Summers-Jones, one by Leon Owen, another by Petrie and one by Harry Jones.Nefyn United’s impressive current form was extended to nine games for eight wins and one draw as they visited Glantraeth and ran up a 5-0 scoreline.

The foundations for their latest win were built early, with a goal after just two minutes from Tom Llywelyn Jones, and that was followed by a double whammy from Dylan Sion Jones and joint player-manager Carl Jones on 23 and 25.Glantraeth, who had occupied 11th place in the league’s 15-team table at the kick-off, then kept the visitors at bay until another mini burst of scoring action by Carl Jones again on 69 minutes and his managerial partner Steve Jones, on 71.

Waunfawr were also big away day winners when piling up an 8-2 tally at basement side Llanerchymedd, and were remarkably already 8-1 up at the interval.

Adam Jones netted twice for Waunfawr on six and 16 minutes, as did Osian Glyn on eight and 40, and Rhodri Owen on 24 and 32, whilst singles were hit by Meurig Parry on 19 and Shaun Roberts on 41. There were replies in each half, from Shaun Pritchard on 29 minutes and Marc Tomos on 75.
