BOW STREET hit back three times to secure a share of the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw with visitors Churchstoke at Cae Piod, as the Magpies consolidated their top five position in the Spar Mid Wales League division one table.

Despite their lowly league position, Stoke showed plenty of attacking threat to take the lead three times through Joe Haycock, Andrew Green and Neil Yapp, but Street hit back through Tom Evans, Steffan Richards and a last-gasp equaliser from Llion Rhys Jenkins.

Aberaeron are up to sixth position in the table after they beat fourth-placed Llanfair United 2-0 at home, despite being without a couple of key players.

Llanrhaeadr have been confirmed as the division one champions, with five games to go after they beat second-placed Welshpool Town 4-3 at home.

Goals from Iwan Matthews, Marc Griffiths, with brace, and Joe Vaughan ended the challenge of Welshpool, who had kept in touch through Ian Probert, Will Thomas and Ricky Litchfield.

Llanidloes Town kept alive hopes of a top two finish with a 3-1 win over Tywyn/Bryncrug at Victoria Avenue.

Two goals from Jac Petrie earned Carno a 2-0 home win over Radnor Valley, and goals from Robert Nicholls and Kieran Mccarley earned Llandrindod Wells a 2-0 home win against Berriew.
