NEFYN United played a significant role in the Gwynedd League’s title battle when they held leaders Bodedern Athletic to a 2-2 draw at Cae’r Delyn.
After a goal-less first half, Mathew Jones scored for the Anglesey side on 53 minutes and Shane Boylan got their second goal on 65.

Aberffraw rushed three goals in eight minutes to win 3-0 at Beaumaris Town, with Ieuan Lloyd scoring after 75 minutes, Mattie Reynolds after 79 from a penalty and Liam Owen on 83.
Llanystumdwy’s visit to Menai Bridge Tigers in the league was postponed, because of a frozen pitch.
Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs Reserves had a rare win in their Bob Owen Memorial Shield round two tie against Bethesda Athletic, to progress to the semi-finals.
Their 5-2 win at Cae Clyd was achieved with strikes by Kieran Ellis, with a brace, Irfon Elfyn, Jack Diamond and Rhys Williams. Gethin Williams scored the two replies for the visiting team.
