NEFYN United won for the first time in four attempts in the Gwynedd League with a 7-2 tally against Beaumaris.
Dylan Sion Jones completed a hat-trick with goals after 36, 55 and 87 minutes, with the other goals coming from Ifan Jones on 23 and 80 minutes, Gareth Williams on 30 and Llion Jones on 83.
Hosts Beaumaris had led through an own goal on 12 minutes, and Chris Camilleri got their second on 50.
In midweek goals from Llion Jones, Iwan Roberts, Ifan Jones and Zac Allinson, with a last minute leveller had earned Nefyn a 4-4 draw with Bontnewydd, who scored via Rhys Roberts, Darren Phillips, Gavin Jennings and Aaron Parry.
Harlech beat Aberffraw 5-2 last weekend with goals from Darren Parry on 21 and 30 minutes, Craig Stewart on 39 and 50 and Emlyn Jennings on 78, with replies by Richard Roberts after 47 and Gary Bolton after 61.
In midweek, Harlech had lost 4-2 at Talysarn Celts, where Rhys Jones netted a hat-trick, along with a goal from David Jones, whilst George Sutherns and Craig Stewart scored for Harlech.
Llanystumdwy drew 2-2 at Bro Goronwy, with Sion Parry netting on 29 and 68 minutes, whilst Andy Williams and Christian Hough replied after 35 and 39.
In midweek, Llanystumdwy had crushed Blaenau Amateurs 7-0 with a hat-trick by Ceirion Jones, two goals from Guto Gwenallt and goals from Tomos Williams and Iwan Richards.
The league’s early pace-setters, Bodedern Athletic, made it five straight wins last weekend by beating Waunfawr 2-1 on their own ground, thanks to Shaun Jenkins netting on 35 minutes and Matthew Jones on 46.
Waunfawr closed up with Adam Jones’s effort on 53 minutes, but the equaliser proved to be beyond them.
Bontnewydd, winners four times in five, with the other match drawn, hammered Bethesda Athletic 9-1, as six scorers were crammed on to the goals’ sheet.
Jonathan Peris Jones took centre stage, with a hat-trick, after 26, 35 and 40 minutes, and was joined by Aled Steele with a double and Dan Evans, Terry Watkinson, Andrew Williams and Morgan Roberts with singles.
Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs Reserves’ match with Talysarn Celts was postponed, because of the lack of a referee.
In the delayed Welsh Cup qualifier Mynydd Llandygai beat Menai Bridge Tigers 5-0, with two goals each from Jamie Whitmore and Matthew Smith and an Iwan Morris goal.
