PADARN United returned to winning ways in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one as they notched a 2-1 success over a battling Penrhyncoch Reserves side.

Goals by Christopher Foster and Paul James sealed the points, but Penrhyn battled to the end, and had stayed in touch through a Nick Jarvis free kick.

Elsewhere Bow Street Reserves breezed to a 5-1 win at Aberystwyth University Reserves, with Nathan Ash scoring a consolation for the students.

Two goals from Justin Quinn and further efforts from Pete James, Iolo Ap Dafydd and Shaun Jones lifted the Magpies up to third place in the table.

Chris Wylde scored twice as Talybont Reserves moved five points clear at the top of the Cambrian Tyres division two with a solid 4-0 win over Aberdyfi Reserves. Chris Jones and Sam Penfold also got their names on the scoresheet.

Levi Challoner scored four goals as Aberystwyth University Thirds made it four wins from five matches in division two as they eased to an empahtic 9-0 home win over Llanilar Reserves.

Llyr Morris scored twice and Jamie Stuart, Simon Fisher and an own goal completed the scoring for the students.

Dolgellau Reserves drew 4-4 at Llanon, with Tommy Redgrift, Darryn Jones, Sion Redgrift and George Jackson-Townshend scoring their goals.

Llanilar are through to the last eight of the Cwpan Coffa Dai Dynamo Davies after they beat Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League rivals Talybont 4-3 in an exciting encounter.

Llanidloes Reserves had edged a hard earned 1-0 win against Aberporth, with Dylan Howells scoring their winner.

Llanymynech will take on Llandysul after they beat Kerry Reserves 6-1, courtesy of a brace from Lee Rogers and further goals by Sam Roberts, Matthew Jones, Jake Price and an own goal.

Rhayader Reserves’ match against Bont was postponed, and Morda conceded their game against Penybont.
