PADARN United moved to the top of the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth League table with a dramatic 3-2 victory over Dolgellau Athletic Reserves on Saturday.
The hosts took the lead through Steve Jones, but Kieran Jones brought Dolgellau level before the break.
United edged back in front early in the second half through Keiran Evans, only for Owain Kelly to restore parity with Dolgellau's second equaliser.
It looked as though the points would be shared, but Evans struck deep into stoppage time after combining with Owen Griffiths to snatch a dramatic winner.
Machynlleth recorded an identical 3-2 success at Corris United.
Dion Kohler opened the scoring for the visitors after 17 minutes, but Mason Dennett levelled for Corris on the half-hour mark.
Kohler restored Machynlleth's advantage with his second goal of the afternoon before the interval, and Dafydd Jones extended the lead midway through the second half.
Dennett also completed a brace late on to set up a tense finish.
