Penparcau wore their very colourful new kit for the first time during the Welsh Cup 3-1 defeat against Rhyl 1879 on Saturday.

The kit was designed by Ysgol Llwyn yr Eos pupil Isabelle Morris as part of a collaboration between the club and the school to forge links with the community.

The kit has been sponsored by Bar 46.

The club has thanked all the volunteers, county councillor and sponsors who helped before, during and after Saturday’s game against CPD Rhyl.

A club statement said: “Although the result wasn’t the one we wanted , the organisation and running of the day was a success in part due to the local community and businesses giving their time and sponsorship once again.
