PENPARCAU are through to their second cup final of the season after they beat Tregaron Turfs 2-0 to book their place in the Len and Julia Newman Memorial Trophy showpiece.
It was sweet revenge for the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth District League leaders, after they were knocked out of the League Cup semi-finals by the same oppostion seven days earlier.
Goals by Ben Davies and Nathan Warren secured victory, to leave them in good heart for their Emrys Morgan Cup Final against Costcutter Ceredigion League champions St Dogmaels at Cae Baker on Good Friday (ko 6pm).
In midweek, Tregaron consolidated second-place in the Cambrian Tyres division one with a 6-1 win at local rivals Bont. Arwel Jones scored twice, with William Williams, Llyr Davies, Ifan Jones and Cerith Davies also on the scoresheet. Andrew Gilbert replied.
Talybont notched their eighth league win of the season on Friday as goals by Bari Southgate, Ben Byrne and Harry Whalley secured an entertaining 3-2 derby success at Bow Street Reserves.
The Magpies were left with an uphill battle in the second half, but came close to levelling towards the end, following goals by Jon James and Dean Evans.
Bow Street Reserves had taken the derby spoils with a 2-1 win over Penrhyncoch Reserves on Monday, with Richy Ricketts and Jac Williams scoring the winning goals. Jack Barron replied.
In the Cambrian Tyres League division two, Mike Rees scored four goals as Aberdyfi eased to a 7-1 win over Padarn Reserves last Wednesday, with further goals from Richard Winchurch, with a brace, and Brandon Kent.

COSTCUTTER CEREDIGION LEAGUE
ST DOGMAELS secured the Costcutter Ceredigion League division one title with a 2-0 win over Llandysul at the school field, where midfielder Rhys Jones capped the triumph with a stunning goal.
Jones, who has been one of the players of the season for the Greens, robbed a defender of the ball outside the penalty box and thumped it on the volley and into the corner of the net to double their lead.
This title success - their first since 2007 - will have been sweet for a team that were edged out of league honours by Lampeter on the final day of last season, and the Saints still have three games to play, such has been their dominance this term.
It was an under-strength visiting side who played most of the football in the opening half an hour, but front runner Chris Harries went close with a header.
At the other end both Peter Almond and Louis Harding both missed great chances, before the impressive Chris Jones, recently returned following a serious leg break, was on hand to slide the ball home after Llan keeper Nathan Jones had managed to divert an Almond shot.
The hosts dominated most of the second half, and they killed the game off on the hour when Jones fired home, and he and his team eventually ran out as comfortable winners in a match superbly refereed by new recruit Jed Townsend.
Last season’s champions Lampeter Town, who trail the leaders by 12 points in third place, enjoyed a stroll in the park as 6-1 winners over relegated Bargod.
Town led 3-0 at the end of the opening quarter and it was plain sailing after this with goals from Scott Davies, with a brace, Christy Gale, Liam Jones, Robert Slawkowski and Jason Jones on target.
Ffostrasol beat Cardigan 3-1 at Troedyrhiw Park, with goals by Gwynfor Bowen, Iolo Thomas with a penalty and Adam Jones, and Newcastle Emlyn beat Aberaeron Reserves 6-0 at Cae Sgwar.
In the Bay Cup Crannog trounced Aberporth by 20-0, with the Airmen starting the game with just nine players, and were reduced to seven men after red cards.
For the division one side Gary Davies, Robbie Evans and George Colven netted four apiece, Tom O’Connor and Gruff Thomas both scored twice and the other goals came via Huw Owen, Rhys Davies, Jordan Jones and Dylan Davies.
