BOW STREET’s revival in the MMP Mid Wales League division one continued as they settled for a 1-1 draw against Llanidloes Town at Victoria Avenue on Wednesday evening.

The Magpies, looking to build on their 5-0 win over Churchstoke, forged an interval lead through Callum Ferreira, but the Daffs hit back with just 10 minutes remaining.

A low free kick from Ed Clarke was poked home by Gareth Owen to move the Daffs to within six points of frontrunners Caersws, with a game in hand.

Caersws beat local rivals Carno 3-0 on Tuesday, as goals from Lance Jones, Mark Edmondson and Charlie Gordon extended their unbeaten start to the season.

Berriew also proved too strong for Churchstoke as Tomos Williams and Charlie Humphreys both netted twice, and Steffan Rogers once in a solid 5-0 home win.
